Class Activity

At this assignment, we were asked to sketch the furniture right on spot in the class and draw out the specification of the furniture. 

INTERIOR DETAILINGS

Based on this assignment, we were required to sketch three furniture and write appropriate specifications. 

OBSERVATION DETAIL_LIFE SKETCH

In this topic, we were required to do an observation of three different type of furniture, including chair, table and cabinet. We have to measure the accurate sizes, take photos and sketch the drawing in our B5 Journal Sketchbook of our selected furniture.

Detailing And Working Drawings - Observation Sketch On Joinery Types

For this week task, we were required to observe and sketch based on 3 different types of joinery during our Singapore trip. But for those who are not going for Singapore trip are required to produce 6 different types of joinery for the observation journal. They are bolts and nuts, riveted and welded. It could based on furniture, building elements and so on. We went through quite lot of places, so it could not be a problem for us to get all those joinery. Here are my observation sketches:

Detailing & Working Drawings II - Exercise 3 ( Detail Drawing Specification )

For this week task, it is actually the continuous group assignment for passed 2 weeks. 

We are required to view for an assembly drawing which based on mixed materials furniture. 

On the task, we need to produce 2 pages of  A3 detail drawing which based on the assembly drawing that we found. 

I was with the group of 4 with Tian Chuan, Pei Sye Low and Hui Yee.

Yet for this week task was basically the modified version of our drawing that we had submitted last week.
